We are looking for an

ENGINEER OPTIC DESIGN (m/f/d)


Full-time, Guntramsdorf near Vienna

In this position, you will play a key role in the development of sophisticated optical systems and make a significant contribution to the innovative strength of IN-VISION Technologies AG.

Your tasks are varied and require a high degree of goal orientation:

  • Conception and design of optical and precision optical systems through to the construction, assembly and testing of prototypes
  • Strong involvement in the product development process and cooperation with the other specialist departments of electronics, mechanics and process development to ensure manufacturing designs
  • Simulation and development of optical systems using sequential and non-sequential ray tracing
  • Creation of tolerance analyses of the optical system in close cooperation with design and internal production

What you should bring with you:

  • University degree with a focus on optics, physics, mathematics or similar
  • Relevant optics experience in a comparable position and a keen interest in optics
  • Knowledge and experience with the optical computing software Zemax, Python is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience with multiphysics environment is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience with DMD systems an advantage
  • Structured and independent way of working and high level of commitment
  • Patience and perseverance combined with goal-oriented thinking
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
