In-Vision wins European Business Awards for Growth Strategy of the Year
Dezember 2019
In-Vision participated in the European Business Awards in 2019. Among 12,0000 businesses considered from 33 countries, a total of 2,753 businesses was named “Ones to Watch”. From these businesses In-Vision was awarded National Winner for Austria in the Category “Growth Strategy of the Year” earlier this year.
As a National Winner, In-Vision represented Austria at the European Business Awards Summit in Warsaw, Poland in December 2019. Following several judging sessions by an independent jury including business leaders, politicians and academics, In-Vision was awarded with the European Business Awards for the European Growth Strategy of the Year. The exclusive award Gala hosted more than 500 business leaders from all over Europe.
Michael Steiner, Chief Financial Officer of In-Vision, said in his acceptance speech at the Gala: “This is an outstanding appreciation of all our efforts over the last years and I cannot wait to take this trophy back home to our team”.
According to the jury, In-Vision’s remarkable transition from the cinema industry to become a global technology leader in additive manufacturing and 3D metrology was the basis for their decision.
In 2015 the company had a comfortable position as manufacturer of digital cinema lenses. Based on initial ideas in their development department, In-Vision built the prototype of a UV light projector that was later to become the key component of most industrial 3D printers in polymer printing.
Michael Steiner summarizes these years as follows: “In 2015, we generated 90% of revenues in the cinema industry. Now, four years later, our revenues have quadrupled and almost 80% come from 3d printing and metrology. Our staff grew from 30 to over 100 people reducing average age of staff by 20 years. We have experienced a fundamental transition coming out stronger than ever before, with a sensational team, great talent and more growth to come”.
Wolfgang Pferscher, Chief Sales Officer of In-Vision: “This success was made possible by our team and our customers, who we work very closely with. They showed tremendous trust in us from the beginning of this journey. It is they award as much as it is ours”.
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said: "In-Vision has reached the gold standard for business excellence by winning this Award. They are a powerful example of a business meeting the challenges of a hugely competitive global marketplace, achieving phenomenal success, and making a positive difference to the world we live in. They deserve their success and we wish them well."
Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International, a leading global network of independent audit, tax and consulting firms said: “On behalf of RSM, I would like to congratulate this year’s worthy winners. Each and every one of these dynamic businesses symbolises the innovative ethos and growth potential of Europe’s middle-market. We wish all of the finalists luck and success in their future endeavours.”
The European Business Awards is now in its 12th year and its primary purpose is to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community throughout Europe. This year it considered over 120,000 businesses from 33 countries. Sponsors and partners include Inflexion, Germany Trade & Invest and Cision PR Newswire.
